Prateek Garg


In 1998, with $ 10,000 in seed capital, 10 staff members and the vision of building a company that has a sustainable business model, great leadership and best corporate governance, Prateek laid the foundation of Progressive Infotech. Under his leadership, Progressive has today risen to be a $ 10 million company with 1000 plus workforce, PAN India presence in 130+ locations and an international footprint in the US.

Prateek is an IT business strategist with a career spanning over 25 years. Prior to setting up Progressive, Prateek was the co-founder of IT&T (now an iGATE subsidiary), which grew to over 300 people across India. Before this, he worked as a technical support manager in HCL Technologies Ltd where he got an opportunity to be a part of HCL’s operations in America which gave him an international exposure in the early 90′s.

Prateek is an entrepreneur with extensive work experience in the area of customer service delivery, making technology work for customers and human resource management. His passion for the Managed Services and Outsourcing Business has granted him the acumen and expertise with which he drives his team to deliver continually improving customer experience.

Progressive’s core philosophy is to create value for customers & Prateek cascades this virtue into his organization and personally takes interest in developing teams and leadership by spending considerable time as a faculty and mentor in Associate Development Programs. His foresight and belief that ‘Change is Constant’ urges the Progressive team to think beyond and be prepared always, come what may. The quality consciousness imbibed by the company has made it one of the few ICT Infrastructure companies that can boast of a long list of certifications including ISO 9001:2008 – For Quality Management Systems, ISO 27001: 2005 – For Information Security of Management Systems & ISO 20001:2005 – For Information Technology Service Management.

Described as a ‘Silent Performer’ by his peers and industry, Prateek is the pillar who has single minded steered Progressive to sustain through thick and thin and move on to becoming a best –in-class organization.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra , India. He has attended the Management Development Programs at XLRI, Jamshedpur and INSEAD, Singapore.

Venu Garg


Venu joined hands in laying the foundation of Progressive. As the Director – People Excellence & Administration, she has from then on, guided and motivated the Progressive clan on the excellence path. Her friendly and approachable demeanour helps create a feeling of belongingness within the Progressive family.

Under her able guidance, Progressive has scaled up to have a 1000 plus resource base. She has driven several Human Capital initiatives with key focus on Employee Management to imbibe a culture in Progressive that compels people to delve within and nurture their competencies further.

Progressive models its HR practices on PCMM Level 3 and has won the coveted ‘Amity HR Excellence Award consecutively, at the 5th & 6th Global HR Summit’

Venu also ensures that the administration of the company runs smoothly and effectively. A post graduate in Mathematics (Statistics) from Punjab University, Venu has a vast experience of over 15 years in the IT industry.

Dr.T.R.Madan Mohan


Dr. T. R. Madan Mohan is a Managing Partner at Browne & Mohan. Previously he was Director (Consulting), ICT Practice, South Asia & Middle East at Frost & Sullivan. He has also been a member of Board of Directors of various organizations.

He has been a Professor with various prestigious institutions like, Indian institute of Management, Bangalore (Technology & Strategy); Eric Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Canada; Brisbane Graduate School of Business, Queensland University of Technology, Australia; Management Development Institute, Gurgaon; Institute of Rural Management.

Dr. T.R. Madan Mohan is a Bachelor of Engineering from Gulbarga University and Ph. D (Management Studies) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Ajit Nair


Ajit is the Executive Vice President at Progressive Infotech, driving the IMS Business SBU within the company.

He is primarily responsible for Business Strategy, Sales, Business Development, Client Success, Inside Sales, Marketing and Strategy implementation for IMS business, including Digital Workplace Services, And End-Point security solutions.

Ajit carries the responsibility for the P&L of the IMS SBU and is responsible for profitably growing the company’s business.

His other responsibilities include Nurturing Strategic Alliances, building ProgressiveNext Brand, new business expansion including international markets for profitably growing the services business, and building strategic clients, and partner
eco-system for the company.

Ajit has over thirty years of leadership experience in the IT Infrastructure Management Services industry, IT Services, IT Consulting, and Management Consulting Services domain, and has rich work experience in the Infotech industry and HR Staffing industry as well.

He has completed Master’s degree in Computer Science from Department of Computer Science, University of Pune and Executive Masters in International Trade from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. He has received bronze Medal for his academic performance from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT-Delhi), a premier educational institution recognized globally for it’s quality educational standards and excellence in International Marketing and Foreign Trade education.

Prior to the Sales leadership role for India & APAC Region at iGATE Global Solutions Ltd., Ajit was President, iGATE Infrastructure Management Services Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of iGATE Global Solutions Ltd. iGATE Global Solutions Ltd. has been merged into Capgemini, following its’ take over few years ago.

Ajit has contributed significantly to iGATE’s business by adding value and delivering outcomes to the company, and growing iGATE’s IMS business during his work tenure spanning 15+ years!

Ajit has successfully completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program- ‘Managing and Transforming Professional Services Firms in India ‘ in Jan’ 2011. In addition, he has successfully completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program – “Launching New Ventures – India” in June 2012.

In the past, Ajit was part of Adecco India’s corporate leadership team and had worked as Sales Director, Adecco India; he has served as Vice President – Sales and Business Development, at TeamLease Services Ltd. part of leadership team, and as Head of Sales – India and Asia Pacific Region, at iGATE Global Solutions Ltd., among other.

Ajit takes keen interest in providing thought leadership by interactions in various forums, panel discussions, adding value to customers, mentoring management students, SMEs, and new startups as well. Ajit wholeheartedly extend his support in grooming young talent and identifying potential leaders for the development of the company. Ajit believes services sector is “the sector of future” !

Sandeep Khanna


Sandeep Khanna is Sr. Vice President – Service Excellence at Progressive Infotech responsible for service delivery, operations and excellence. His sphere activity also includes business development – North, business strategy, client relationship and financial management of Progressive’s NxtGen Managed Services.

Sandeep has been diligently instrumental in implementing various processes to improve the customer experience and has actively worked to get the organization certified in ITSM, ISMS & QMS.

He started his career as R&D Engineer at ESPL where he played a key role in Production and Quality Control department of the organization. He now owns over 25 years of extensive experience in service operations & delivery management, process enhancement, project management, business process re-engineering, quality management and cost management.

Sandeep joined Progressive in the year 2006 where he was responsible for leading IT Operations across India besides delivering very large and complex projects for Progressive. Prior to joining Progressive, he was an entrepreneur and went over to build a leading Web Solutions company.

He believes in self-challenging and amelioration of his team efficiency to achieve better results in terms of client experience and business value.

Mr. Sandeep has achieved certifications in ITIL v3, AWS Business Professional, INSEAD – Business & Financial Strategy. He holds a degree in B.E. Computer Science from Gulbarga University in Karnataka, India.

Arvind Aggarwal


Arvind Agarwal is Progressive’s General Manager – Finance, a fellow chartered accountant who holds overall responsibility for financial strategy, financial operations and accounts.
He has a breadth of experience in all aspects of finance, management, accounting and reporting and setting the accounting policies and directing the team. He is also chartered with managing a balanced financial portfolio and maintaining the highest level of integrity, transparency and governance in the company operations.

Arvind is in-charge for funds mobilization to enable the rapid growth of Progressive. He is also an expert at handling legal issues and has played a key role in redefining Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

He possesses vast knowledge on financial management, banking, treasury, budgeting, risk management and fund raising activities. His proactive nature and ready to help attitude, ensures smooth financial operations internally as well as externally.

A Fellow Chartered Accountant who brings in 20 years of rich experience, Arvind has led various initiatives to help streamline the operational parameters and drive excellence.
